HOW WE GOT STARTED

While on a trip to Italy with my BFF Liz, we discoverd that travelers were going home with Italian dogs – some found on the street, but all humanely cared for by shop owners, cafe staff, and village denizens. We met so many beautiful animals, all spayed/neutered and fed by locals. None had beds, leashes or collars.
Light Bulb. What a great notion for a business – on the Amalfi Coast. We wanted to create beds for our beautiful new animal friends, in Italy with an Italian business partner. Starting a business Italy turned out to be a task more difficult than we had imagined.
But we perservered. We decided to make beds for dogs who traveled with their owners, using their owners' vacation photos the focal point. Our first beds had photos of the tower of Pisa, rooftops of Rome and a limoncello cat.
Then... why not make beds for the pet's staycation whose owners didn't take them with them. We gave up specificity for diversity. And now we welcome any photos suggestions – no end to possibilities here.
